At the time I’m writing this, I am realizing how much progress I made on writing in a week. I signed up for Medium in November 2019 and wrote an article once a while.

Mainly I used Medium for reading purposes but then I thought "why not start to write some articles". I don’t have any writing experience whatsoever except for writing school papers when I was a student. Now I set the challenge for myself to post a minimum of 3 articles per week. The first week is almost over and I must say I'm impressed :)

The thing I did was to just start and see where it leads me. So far I've connected with a lot of people on Medium, my views have gone up and I have a new productive thing to do in my spare time (which is very limited if I say so myself). Of course some of my articles have been rejected to publications but that’s not stopping me from keeping to write.

I find that my ‘niche’, if I may call it that at this time, has become productivity at work and self-improvement with the ability to get sh*t done without being distracted from social apps.

There will be times when everything is working against you and times when you just don’t want to start. My advice is do start! Take that leap of faith, do what you’re destined to do, and don't give up. Find people who have already done what you want to do and learn from…
